Located on a quiet residential street in the High Street Kensington district, Launceston Place sits inside a historic 1839 building that was once part of the manor of Earl's Court. The chocolate-colored dining room features contemporary landscape paintings and tan, couch-like banquettes, where diners enjoy modern British cuisine from chef Tristan Welch. Dishes include duck hearts on toast, breast of duck, rump and sweetbread of Rose veal, and roasted West coast scallops. A team of sommeliers has prepare a wine list that includes both Old World and New World wines by the by the glass, half bottle, and full bottle.
