The first United Kingdom-based Vietnamese tea and coffee supplier, Ca Phe VN is open every Saturday at Hackney’s Broadway Market. Run by husband-and-wife team Rob Atthill and Tuyen Hong, the company sources, imports, and produces the highest quality Vietnamese coffee to sell at its Saigon-style street café, where metal chairs and foldaway tables are shaded by large red and black umbrellas. The freshly brewed coffee is made using the drip-filter method and is available either hot or iced. As is customary in Vietnamese tradition, the strong espresso is often lightened with sweet condensed milk.

For lunch, try the authentic bánh mì, made with the help of family-run café Banhmi11. Homemade pâté and fresh local bread make this sandwich one of the best in London.
