Opened in 2008 by comfort food chef Cynthia Kallile, this unusual Lakeview bakery delights diners with an assortment of savory cupcakes made with different kinds of meatloaf. Also available in bite-sized “loafies” and family-sized pastries, the bakery’s recipes include the signature Mother Loaf topped with Yukon mashed potatoes and the Thanksgiving-inspired Herby Turkey Loaf with stuffing and a side of cranberry sauce. For more conventional bakery patrons, the shop offers a selection of homemade sweets, including whoopie pies and cookies. Visitors can either dine-in at the handful of tables or take the gourmet goodies to go.
