Punta Rossa
From the outside, this den of seafood looks more like a beach shack than upscale restaurant from one of the city's more recognizable restaurateurs. Chef Renatone, a regular on television, is an imposing figure who likes to make appearances in the dining room for his celebrity-filled clientele. The indoor dining area with surrounding views of the ocean is more sophisticated while the casual patio is strewn with plastic chairs and tables a few feet from the sand, and a path that leads straight to the water. Red shrimp with sea salt, langoustines, and linguine and clams are a few signature items.
Insider Tip:
When making a reservation, tables on the patio are the most requested for a more relaxing experience, rather than indoors, where they are typically considered too close to the kitchen.
