The downtown location of Gilda is considered among the best nightclubs in the city. Like many competitors, the owners of Gilda open a beachside version of the club from May to September. In the coastal area of Fregene, 24-miles outside the center of town, patrons can enjoy outdoor volleyball, a private beach, swimming pool, cabins for overnight stays, and four dance floors. A restaurant serving uncomplicated plates like fried calamari and spaghetti with clams, as well as a pizzeria are among the dining options. A beachside bar with famous DJs is also open.
