Located in Hollywood on Laurel Canyon Blvd., this deli and market serves up custom-made sandwiches and wine. Once a favorite hang-out for Jim Morrison, Canyon Country Store has a front patio that’s seen more than its share of celebrities. (Joni Mitchell, Frank Zappa, and Three Dog Night all held spontaneous jam sessions there.) The run-down red brick building has wood floors and psychedelic murals reminicent of the 70's. Hand-made deli sandwiches and salads are popular lunch items, and the market sells hard-to-find specialty consumables like Dandy Don’s ice cream and Dave’s Kombucha tea.

This place is also known for its coffee, which can be made with regular milk, as well as almond, rice, or soy milk.
