Get Hitched in High Style
Sure, there are casino wedding chapels galore in Vegas—is there anything sadder than watching a bride trudge through a casino floor?— and any number of opportunities to be married by Elvis. But the city’s most glamorous way to tie the knot these days is at the newly redesigned Wedding Salons at Wynn. Its design, by Roger Thomas, was inspired by an antique silver-and-jewel Buccellati box. Think hand-embroidered wall panels in platinum, Murano glass chandeliers and French modern furnishings. To do it right, you’ll need to plunk down a half million dollars for the Diamond Extravagance package, which includes five days at the resort, custom Cartier wedding bands, a first dance choreographed by performers from Le Réve–The Dream, a private party inside XS Nightclub, and a rehearsal dinner at Bartolotta Ristorante Di Mare (Chef Paul will toast you himself). Then, you’ll have your reception on The Margaux lawn, overlooking the Wynn golf course. Certainly, it’s a long way from the drive-thru wedding chapel.
