Las Vegas
Las Vegas Hotel
Las Vegas, NV, 89109, United States
When it opened in 1969, the Las Vegas Hotel (then the Las Vegas Hilton) was the largest in the world. And though it no longer holds that title, the property is still enormous by today’s standards, with 2,973 rooms on 64 sprawling acres on Paradise Road, one block off the densely packed Strip. This location—also next to the Las Vegas Convention Center—makes it a top choice for business travelers; thanks to three classes of rooms and seven suite options, it’s also an ideal choice for families (the third floor pool deck is furnished with cabanas and misting chairs, plus a snack bar, fitness center, and four championship tennis courts). Where will you find the gambling set? Downstairs at the main casino floor, which is home to a mega-sized sports-and-race book with 60 big-screen TVs.
Room to Book:
The split-level Lanai Suite opens directly onto the rooftop pool deck and has views of the Las Vegas Country Club golf course.
Insider Tip:
If you’re staying multiple days, opt for a three-day unlimited monorail pass. The station is just steps from the hotel’s entrance, and the route runs the length of the Strip.
