Royal Lytham & St. Annes
Lytham St. Annes, England, FY8 3LQ, United Kingdom
One of the world’s most renowned links courses, Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club is located in Lancashire, about half a mile inland from the Irish Sea. Originally designed by George Lowe in 1886, the 18-hole course hosted numerous championships over the decades, including the British Open, Women’s Open, and Ryder Cup. The course is surrounded by nontraditional scenery—brick houses on one side and a railroad on the other, with sea breezes blowing in from the coast. The Victorian clubhouse contains a dining room and bar, while the adjacent Dormy House has 16 guest rooms for overnight stays.
