Although this New York destination is known for its winter activities, there are many things to do in Placid Lake during the summer season as well. The amazing Adirondack State Park offers you a wide range of outdoor activities throughout all year. Given that the city named after the Placid Lake, it is impossible not to mention it. There you will be able to enjoy the warmth of the sun and a refreshing dip in the lake.
