Inspired by the hotel of the same name in Nepal, Yak & Yeti sits in Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom near Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids. Beyond its two-story periwinkle façade with Asian-style arched windows are sand-colored stone walls, woven rugs, wooden chairs with high carved backs, and Southeast Asian tapestries and statues. Yak & Yeti’s menu includes tempura-battered shrimp in chili plum sauce with coconut-ginger rice, fried wontons, seared ahi tuna, and green bean fries. Specialty drinks like the Shanghai Express are served, along with tea, sake, and Asian beers. A children’s menu is available.
