McKenzie's Water Ski School
From Memorial Day weekend through late September, the McKenzie family has taught people how to figuratively walk on water on Lake Arrowhead. George McKenzie and wife Lucy started the water ski school in 1946, and their children continue to work at getting people to their feet on the lake. McKenzie provides water ski lessons and rides, as well as wakeboard lessons and rides (both in 15-minute increments). Plus, basic boat rides are available with more limited action. Instructors strap in feet and start the lessons on dry land before taking to the water. They also accommodate groups and corporate retreats.
Lake Arrowhead Village is right near the pier and provides several restaurants to get you energized before lessons, such as The Belgian Waffle Works.
