A.R. Valentien is the signature restaurant at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. Inspired by namesake Albert R. Valentien, this farm-to-table establishment is decorated with California impressionist art and indigenous Craftsman-style architecture.
Set right over the ocean, La Jolla’s elegant Marine Room serves global cuisine rooted in classic French technique (try the leek and vanilla–poached lobster or the spinach-wrapped Pacific oysters). At high tide, crashing waves outside the windows are wonderfully dramatic.
The palm-framed Grande Colonial hotel doesn’t give much away about the boutique property or its signature restaurant.
This pan-Asian restaurant has an Asian-noir space and is named for Tokyo's trendy nightclub district.
