Twice-daily game rides and decks overlooking the Mkuze River falls give guests plenty of opportunities to spot the Big Five and some of the 400 species of birds at this private game reserve south of Swaziland. The nine thatched chalets and one Safari Suite (with kitchenette) at the main lodge come with plunge pools, AC, and safari décor: bamboo walls, elephant-tusk headboards, mosquito netting. There’s a pool, pub, and dining room, plus regular BBQs with Zulu dancers. Daily rates cover all meals and snacks.
