On a mellow cobblestone street in the swank Belgravia neighborhood, this townhouse-turned-87-room-boutique hotel is an easy walk to the shops of Sloane Street (including Harrods and Harvey Nichols) and the Knightsbridge tube station. Between April and September, people-watch from the al fresco terrace at Lowndes Bar & Kitchen. Guest rooms were refurbished in 2006, dedicating the sixth floor to all-suite accommodations. Complimentary Wi-Fi and continental breakfast, as well as in-room spa treatments, help make up for the small-ish quarters.
