Alpenglow Stube
Keystone Resort
Keystone, CO, 80435, United States
Accessed by two gondola rides through the mountains, this German-American restaurant sits at the top of the North Peak, at a height of 11,444 feet. Part of the Keystone Ski Resort, the restaurant has an intimate, lodge-like design with rough-hewn wooden beams, a large stone fireplace, antler chandeliers, and expansive windows framing views of the snow-covered mountains. During the winter season, the restaurant also provides complimentary sheepskin slippers for each guest. Dinner options include four-, six-, and seven-course tasting menus, which combine regional and Bavarian flavors in dishes like the pinecone pâté, and pomegranate-braised buffalo short ribs with whipped potatoes.
Insider Tip:
Opt for an early dinner so you can watch the sun set over the mountains during the gondola rides.
