Blue Heaven Restaurant

Originating as a casual lunch café in 1992, Blue Heaven is now a full-service restaurant that draws huge crowds all day. The restaurant is located in a small, century-old building that once housed a pool hall, an ice cream shop, and a bar where Ernest Hemingway refereed boxing matches. Today, the 60’s-inspired interior is decorated with eclectic artwork and mismatched furniture, while the open-air courtyard has additional seating surrounded by free-roaming roosters and cats. Breakfast favorites include homemade banana pancakes and lobster Benedict, while the dinner menu includes Caribbean barbecued shrimp with jerk seasoning and Red Stripe beer.
