The Marker Waterfront Resort made history in 2014, when it became the first newly built hotel to open in Key West in more than two decades. It was worth the wait: While its conch-style architecture helps it blend into its surroundings, there's a touch of old Hollywood glamour inside. The hotel's 96 guest rooms are filled with a waterfront-appropriate palette of white and bright blue, and each one features a balcony, from which you can gaze out at the garden-filled property. Though it's a small enough hotel that guests don't feel crowded, its three swimming pools offer even more privacy. Cero Bodega serves up solid Mexican fare—plus a daily happy hour—with waterfront views.
