This annual arts exhibit of contemporary, large-scale outdoor sculptures and installations started in 1995 as an informal exhibit. Now, it showcases emerging and established artists from around the world. Three venues participate: Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park, Key West Garden Club at West Martello Tower, and Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden. The organizers’ mission is to create an internationally recognized platform for sculptors and make art part of people’s daily lives. Some pieces are selected to be displayed throughout the community, and local art teachers, students, and professors all work together to make this event happen.
