Crandon Park Beach

Located on Key Biscayne, Crandon Park is often lauded as one of the best beaches in the nation. The two-mile stretch of shoreline is known for its clean sand and calm waters, the result of a sand bar that protects swimmers from strong waves. A promenade stretches along the beach, which is also lined with palm trees, concession stands, and several picnic areas. In addition to cabanas, the park has kite-boards, kayaks, and bikes available for rent. Thirteen lifeguards patrol the area during the day.
