There are benches, perfect for watch the choppy waves of the Atlantic Ocean before wandering into the tide or walking past evergreens and birch trees, exiting to civilization at any point. The walk ends (or begins) at Shore Road and continues more than a mile to Perkins Cove, a rustic fishing cove with river, ocean, and boat views.

Insider Tip:

Perkins Cove is also a hub for shoppers interested in art, candles, clothing, and more, and it’s easily pairable with a walk along Marginal Way.
