Harkening back to the early 1970’s, this old-fashioned arcade sits directly on Short Sands Beach in a white, corrugated metal building with big red letters spelling out its name. Inside, the arcade is packed with nostalgic games such as Skee-Ball, pinball, candlepin bowling, and vintage video games ranging from Pac-Man to Q*bert. Most games cost no more than 50 cents, and the snack bar is equally affordable. Fun-O-Rama is closed for the winter but attracts crowds of both locals and tourists during the summer.
Insider Tip:
After visiting the arcade, walk across the street to the century-old Goldenrod restaurant and watch the staff make saltwater taffy in flavors like blueberry, peanut butter, and molasses.
