Just a short walk from the town of Kamuela, the Jacaranda Inn is located on the 1847 Parker Ranch, one of the largest cattle ranches in the nation. Situated in former bunkhouses that belonged to the ranch hands, the eight guest rooms are individually decorated, although most include hardwood floors, local artwork, iron or canopy beds, oversize whirlpool tubs, and covered porches overlooking the gardens. There's also a private three-bedroom cottage with a rock fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and views of the seasonal Kohakohau Stream and Kohala Mountains. No meals are served, but several restaurants are within walking distance.
