John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum

397 Main St.
Hyannis, MA, 02601, United States
TEL: (508) 790-3077

A bronze statue of John F. Kennedy stands in front of this brick Colonial building, a museum dedicated to his Cape Cod life. It looks as if he had stepped from the curved white-columned portico for a barefoot stroll through the plumed grasses to his beloved beach. The vintage family photos alone are worth a tour; more than 80 pictures depict family, friends, and sailing from 1934 through 1963. A video provides additional details of the 35th president’s life. The Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce runs the museum. Hours vary with the seasons, so check the museum’s website.
