Beaver’s

Once a neighborhood icehouse, the renovated building on the corner of Sawyer and Decatur Streets now houses Beaver’s restaurant and bar. Inside, the casual eatery has a mellow ambiance comprised of brightly painted walls and exposed beams, while outside, an open-air patio offers a place to enjoy the nice weather. Executive chef Jonathan Jones serves up an eclectic menu that includes everything from smoked pork ribs to the vegetarian beaver nut burger. The mac and cheese is especially popular as is the bacon ice cream, and an innovative cocktail list boasts unique concoctions like the Smoky Julep, made with in-house maple-smoked rye whiskey.
