With the city skyline in the background, Houston’s skateboarders show off their skills inside this 30,000-square-foot complex. Designed by Grindline Skateparks, the state-of-the-art facility is the first of its kind in the region. The park contains plenty of bowls, grinding rails, and ramps for skaters of all levels to practice their skills, and its cradle is puported to be one of largest in the country. Although the park is free, skaters must sign in, and a safety staff is on-site in case an injury occurs.
Be sure to check out the urban art located along “Skater Alley,” the walkway between Sabine Street and the park’s entrance.
