Archontiko Eleni Hotel
Just a few streets back from the sea, the Archontiko Eleni Hotel is housed in a restored Neoclassical mansion dating from the 1890’s. Beyond the pale-yellow façade, the hotel is decorated with white marble accents, hardwood floors, and century-old brick archways. Large windows admit plenty of sunlight into the eight guest rooms, which are individually designed with antique furniture and gilt-framed mirrors. Some also have private balconies with partial views of the sea. Breakfast includes homemade pastries and is served in either the dining room or the fragrant jasmine garden.
Room to Book:
The hotel is located on the town’s main road, so be sure to request a room facing away from the street for a quieter stay.
Walk down the road to the Archaeology Museum of Andros and explore the collection of ancient artifacts, which date back to the eighth century B.C.
