The largest open-air flea market in Hawaii, the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet takes place every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday in the parking lot surrounding the stadium. More than 700 local merchants set up tents, selling a wide variety of imported, handmade, and vintage goods. The inventory may include wooden wind chimes, homemade jewelry, kukui nut oil, reggae memorabilia, colorful sarongs, and woven handbags lined with tropical fabric. The market also has several concession stands serving local specialties such as shaved ice. The swap meet closes when the stadium is hosting another event, like a University of Hawaii football game.
