3660 On the Rise
Named after its location at 3660 Waialae Avenue near the Wilhelmina Rise in East Honolulu, this Euro-Island bistro is a collaboration between Russell Siu and Gale Ogawa. Siu, also the restaurant’s executive chef, supervises the kitchen, which turns out traditional Hawaiian regional fare, including several seafood specialties, such as soy sake filet of butterfish, as well as pork and steak. The elegant dining room is accented with marble, granite, and wood, and the open kitchen is enclosed by a large glass wall, preventing the noise from seeping into the dining area.
Insider Tip:
Nori is frequently used in 3660’s menu. Diners that don’t care for this ingredient should ask their server for recommendations.
