The Aqua Lotus at Diamond Head, formerly the W Waikiki, is a 50-room boutique hotel at the foot of Diamond Head and about a half-mile from the beach in Oahu’s Kapiolani Park. The hotel still retains much of the look of the W, with Polynesian accents, rows of candles, and velvet couches in the lobby. Spacious guest rooms have teak accents, Asian-inspired botanical prints, and each includes its own private lanai. The Diamond Head Grill, open for dinner, serves Asian, Euro-American, and Polynesian cuisines prepared with seasonal ingredients.
