This iconic property may be an official resort of HersheyPark, but it's also a destination unto itself. Originally built by Milton S. Hershey in the middle of the Great Depression, the original hotel had 170 rooms with Mediterranean flair and a Cuban-inspired lobby (the chocolate magnate owned sugar plantations on the island). Today, there are 276 rooms, a 40,000-square-foot spa, three restaurants, and hiking trails throughout the ground's 300 acres. Guests can also look forward to a grass putting course, new fitness center, and a renovated indoor pool, all opening May 2014.
