Hietalahti Antique and Art Hall
Helsinki, 00180, Finland
Five minutes from downtown on the 6 tram, this spacious shop in the Hietalahdentori neighborhood is chock-full of used Midcentury Modern sofas, chairs, and housewares by Finnish design stars. The shipping fees (about $200 for a chair) are negligible when compared to the steals found here, where prices start at $130 for a 1950's teapot and top out at $13,000 for a museum-quality Alvar Aalto Paimio chair (New York's MOMA has one).
