After farming in the Russian River Valley for many years, Joe Rochioli Sr. bought 160 acres of land to establish this now-acclaimed family winery. Taking advantage of the valley’s cool, foggy climate, the company produces Chardonnays, Sauvignons Blancs, and nationally renowned Pinot Noirs. Single-vineyard wines are reserved for members on “the List” (which has a current wait time of five years), but free samples of the estate wines are available in the on-site tasting room. Overlooking a colorful rose garden, the tasting room includes a rotating local art collection, a small gift shop, and an adjacent patio with picnic tables.
