Dr. Gravity Kite Shop

A popular stop for visitors on the way to Cape Cod, this colorful kite shop is located on Route 28 in the village of Harwichport. The windows of the white-trimmed, cedar-shake storefront are filled with kites of all shapes and sizes, and during the summer, body boards and beach chairs are stacked against the building. Kite options include sport, power, box, cellular, parafoil, and single-line, such as a seven-foot black shark and a Rokkaku gecko. In addition to kites, the shop sells windsocks, flags, board games, and beach toys ranging from shovels to skim boards.
