Things to do in The Hamptons

Besides playing in the surf and lounging in the sun, are always lots of beachfront things to do in the Hamptons. Vacationers can enjoy a relaxing afternoon at Hither Hills State Park Walking Dunes Trail or spend the day surfing in Montauk.

Architecture lovers will find plenty of things to do in the Hamptons, including touring Sylvester Manor, the 17th century estate on Shelter Island, visiting the Old Halsey Homestead in Southampton, or seeing the Old Whalers’ Church in Sag Harbor, a fine example of Egyptian Revival Style. Those who enjoy others types of art can fill their calendar of what to do in the Hamptons with plays at the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor and browsing shows at the Dan Flavin Art Institute. You could even get a glimpse of how Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner lived and worked at the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center.

If you’re still looking for more of what to do in the Hamptons, enjoy the high-end boutique shopping in the different villages or reserve a tee time at Bethpage State Park Golf Course or Montauk Downs State Park.
