Bar Lola
This Munjoy Hill restaurant and bar serves a rotating selection of New American dishes utilizing organic, seasonal ingredients. The menu is organized into five categories: small, medium, salad, large, and sweet plates, and can be chosen individually or as part of a five-course prix fixe or seven-course tasting menu chosen by the kitchen. Chef-owner Guy Hernandez and his wife, Stella, opened Bar Lola in 2006 in a space that was once a residential house. The restaurant's interior mixes dark wood with expansive windows dressed in sea-green curtains. The menu changes every few weeks, but may include roasted pork belly with cider-braised cabbage or ricotta gnocchi with winter squash.

It's not always on the menu, but ask for the popular Ward 8 cocktail, a concoction of bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and pomegranate molasses.
