Frequented by the renowned winemakers of Sonoma County, Underwood Bar & Bistro is located about an hour north of San Francisco in the tiny town of Graton. The interior is marked by dark-wood trim, red vinyl banquettes, and a long, nickel-topped bar where locals congregate to sip regional wines and handcrafted cocktails. Incorporating Mediterranean and California flavors, the menu includes entrées like Catalan fish stew and lemon-herb roasted chicken, as well as a variety of tapas, such as white anchovy crostini with piquillo peppers.
