Eclectic, Artisanal/handicrafts

A tiny store on Drury Street, the Irish Design Shop stocks a stellar mix of modern pieces designed and made in Ireland. Stock rotates with fair regularity, but you can expect to find pieces like hand-turned wooden bowls, ceramic homewares, woven scarves, and Dublin honey. The jewelry, Names Dublin, is designed by Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey, the founders of the shop. There’s a geometric feel to the pieces, which are handmade and plated with either rose or yellow 18-karat gold; each piece is named after female relatives of the founders.
