Benziger Family Winery

Known for its organic and biodynamic growing practices (the vintners here have forsworn all chemical pesticides and fertilizers), Benziger encompasses 85 acres of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Syrah vines. Two winery tours are offered here—both offering a behind-the-scenes look at production and a tasting; we prefer the Tram Tour, which includes a ride through the vineyards on a biofueled tractor-pulled cart.
