Named after the iconic Michelin Man (also known as Bibendum), this restaurant is housed inside the century-old Art Deco Michelin Building, the former headquarters of the tire company. Inside, the restaurant is divided into two levels: a casual downstairs café and oyster bar, which is decorated with small round tables and Michelin-themed artwork, and a more formal upstairs restaurant, designed with white tablecloths, bright red upholstered chairs, and an original stained-glass window depicting Bibendum. In the kitchen, executive chef Matthew Harris crafts regionally inspired French dishes, including two longtime signatures—escargot bourguignonne and steak au poivre.
Insider Tip:
If you choose to dine in the oyster bar, request a secluded table, far from the busy path leading from the entrance to the restaurant staircase.
