Located in the coastal fishing village after which it's named, Five Island specializes in fresh-caught crustaceans. There's no indoor seating; snag a picnic table on the dock overlooking the sea, and watch as the lobster boats come in and out of the harbor. Lobsters can be purchased by the pound, live or cooked. Fresh local-dug steamers, fried shrimp, lobster rolls, and fish chowder are also on the menu, along with an assortment of sandwiches, including several landlubber options such as hamburgers, chicken, and hot dogs
Insider Tip:
The cooks hand-bread every fried item on the menu to-order. A favorite is the fried clams dipped in cilantro mayo.
