The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro

2406 N. Main St.
Fort Worth, TX, 76164, United States
TEL: (817) 740-8810

Located in the 19th-century Fort Worth Stockyards, the Lonesome Dove Western Bistro is the flagship restaurant of nationally acclaimed chef Tim Love. Housed in a red-brick building, the bistro combines classic design elements—such as white tablecloths and hardwood floors—with authentic Old West touches like reclaimed barn doors, a mounted longhorn, and iron barstools cushioned with saddle blankets. Showcasing Love’s “urban Western” cuisine, the menu includes game-focused dishes, such as rabbit-rattlesnake sausage with spicy Manchego rösti (potato cakes), as well as more traditional options like garlic-stuffed beef tenderloin with a Syrah demi-glace.

Insider Tip:

After dinner, walk through the stockyards to Billy Bob’s Texas, the world’s largest honky tonk. The club hosts concerts by the likes of Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, and Josh Turner.
