Osteria Tornabuoni

5 Via de' Corsi,
Florence,

Italy,

With the goal of serving up "the soul of Tuscany" on a plate, former Bulgari executive Silvio Ursini (also the creator of the Obika mozzarella bars in Florence, Rome and five other cities) opened Osteria Tornabuoni in 2010. Taking advantage of its location in the 16-century Palazzo Tornabuoni, the osteria has soaring ceilings and white stucco walls, alongside minimalist modern furnishings and fixtures. Classic dishes such as ribollita are reverentially interpreted. With a gastronomica (food shop) and entoteca (wine store and tasting room) on site, visitors can take the Tuscan specialties home with them.
