Set in an ancient building that was once a chapel (the wine cellar is housed in the frescoed apse) and, more recently, a nightclub owned by Roberto Cavalli, Da' Pescatore serves some of the best fish and seafood in Florence in stylish, modern surroundings. Chef Daniele Pescatore's menus betray his Neapolitan roots in dishes such as octopus and potatoes, or spaghetti with sea urchin, but they are given a light, contemporary twist. The short but thoughtful wine list features an unusual selection of labels from all over Italy.
