Yorkshire Grey Pub & Kitchen

2 Theobalds Rd.
London, England, WC1X 8PN, United Kingdom
TEL: 44-020-7405-2519

Named after the Grey Shire horses, the Yorkshire Grey has been open since 1676. This stylish pub welcomes the after work crowd with a selection of beers, wines, and whiskies, as well as a seasonal pub menu. In addition to classic fare like fish and chips and sausage and mash, the kitchen serves burgers, sandwiches, and canapés for lunch and dinner. Bar snacks and desserts are also available. The hardwood floors, sturdy wooden tables, and mismatched chairs provide a cozy atmosphere, accented by warm lighting.

Insider Tip:

At one point in its history, the Yorkshire Grey brewed its own ale and was one of only six pubs in London to do so. Today the pub's revolving on-tap ales have earned it the Cask Marque distinction.
