Hotels in Finger Lakes Region

Finger Lakes hotels can be quaint, luxurious, and sometimes both. Most are tucked away for a true retreat in the region, winter or summer. A few places are always a great stay whenever you visit the Finger Lakes. Bellhurst Castle offers three distinct hotels. Vinifera Inn offers cozy rooms with fireplaces and lake views. The White Springs Manor is a revival mansion with period style rooms, and it’s right next to the Belhurst Estate Vineyards. And finally the Chambers in the Belhurst Castle offer luxurious period suites right in the 1880’s stone castle (name one of the most romantic places in New York State).

The Inn at Glenora Wine Cellars has 30 guest rooms all with a balcony or patio view of the privately owned vineyard and Seneca Lake. Their gourmet restaurant, Veraisons, also has a terrace for a beautiful view during evening meals. Holiday Inn Elmira Riverview is located in Mark Twain Country, central to many attractions and downtown Elmira. It also has easy access to the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and is a short drive from museums like the Corning Museum of Glass.

This charming little B&B in an 1855 Gothic Revival house on Van Cleef Lake features Victorian antiques and full sit-down breakfasts.

The property is a nice change from the area’s chain hotels: B&B accommodations, art glass, and antiques in an 1890 Greek Revival mansion in a leafy residential neighborhood.

The rooms at the Sherwood Inn—a former stagecoach stop—have lake views and fireplaces.

The lakeside Victorian B&B has romantic rooms decked out with Persian rugs and antique beds.
