Opened in 1911, this eight-floor Art Nouveau hotel is located between the financial district and Moscone Convention Center, just a six-minute walk from Union Square. Inside, the lobby is designed with vintage furniture, original skylights, and a huge handcrafted fireplace. The hotel offers 177 guestrooms and suites, all of which feature warm wood furniture, framed contemporary art, and large windows that may overlook the adjacent courtyard or the downtown skyline. In addition to morning coffee, a complimentary wine hour is hosted in the lobby each evening. A garden and walking track are located on a third-floor outdoor terrace.
