1903 center-city hotel built on top of a 19th-century red-sandstone railway station, a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle. The opulent hotel is an excellent bet for holiday-time tourists.
Room to Book: The recently refurbished Deluxe Plus rooms on the 2nd floor (200, 202, 236, and 240) are slightly larger than those on the 3rd and 4th and have higher ceilings and larger windows, with views of Edinburgh Castle.
