features

Value, Traditional style

One of the oldest pubs in the city, the Long Hall dates back to the 1860s, and retains many of the old features of the original bar (as well as its charm). The exterior, with its glossy red brick and candy-cane-striped canopy, is fairly distinctive, but inside the feeling is classically Irish, with creaky bar stools and well-worn carpets. Long Hall is best known as the favorite pub of Bruce Springsteen, who always stops by when he's in town (as does every other Dubliner, in the hopes of catching a glimpse of The Boss).
