Hotels in Dubai

Some of the world's most innovative and luxurious hotels can be found in Dubai. The most extravagant line Jumeireh Beach along the Gulf and those on Sheikh Zayed Road come in close second. Homier accommodations are in the Old Town of Deira and Bur Dubai. There are myriad options, but two standout hotels in Dubai include:

A trip to Dubai isn't complete without a visit to the only seven-star hotel in the world, the Burj Al Arab. This sail-shaped hotel rises 1,053 feet high from a manmade island. All of the 202 suites are bi-level with glass windows and there's butler service on every floor. Those here on business will appreciate the private bars and office spaces. Hotels in Dubai don't get any better than the Burj Al Arab.
The mirrored, wave-shaped Jumeirah Beach Hotel was the first on this strip and is one of the best hotels in Dubai. Just like so the city itself, the hotel is over-the-top with 598 rooms, 20 restaurants and bars, and five pools. There are 19 private beach villas and 70 rooms in the north wing were specifically designed for families. For a drink, head to the resort's moody Uptown Bar.

Situated on Old Town Island in downtown, The Palace - The Old Town hotel overlooks the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.

The luxury Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa is designed in the style of a Bedouin encampment. Each of the hotel’s 42 spacious suites resemble tents, and they look out over the desert near the Hajar Mountains, about 45 minutes outside of the city.
